Mykonos and Santorini: Greece

As it was just a few years ago when I was there, I only remember a few things about these places so I’m extremely sorry if this post is short. Hello travellers 🧳. Today we are going to be talking about Mykonos and Santorini islands of Greece.

Probably the best islands in Greece πŸ‡¬πŸ‡·. As the trendy cafes and shops selling real/fake designer accessories, attracts people from Asia, America and Europeans alike.

Mykonos is a little bit like Santorini. The style of building is very similar, but maybe just because it’s the Greek style of architecture however they are both equally stunning. 😯

I honestly think that there are no islands in the world which have been photographed as much as the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini.

White washed buildings against volcanic landscapes, old fashioned windmills, blue church domes against an equally azure Aegean Sea.

Both Mykonos and Santorini have a reasonable amount of souvenir shops, restaurants and bars. In summer many huge cruise ships arrive each day because these islands are so popular.

The town of Oia (pronounced Ia) in Santorini, is the most famous in the world for its sunsets πŸŒ… . In Oia  is where you can find the blue dome churches, that you can find in all the postcards, photos and paintings of Santorini.

Mykonos on the other hand is famous for its night life or if you’re a history lover who cannot imagine going to Greece without seeing Delos, where Apollo and Artemis where born.

See you another day, sorry but that’s all for today, #Travellerout

Here are images our ‘home” in Mykonos for a few days…Not bad eh.home
